Desiree Suhr Perez is an illustrator and visual artist from California and Costa Rica. As a third culture kid, she grew up in Bali, Indonesia, and lived in Paris, France for four years during her undergrad. She is a polyglot, proudly Latinx,  an avid reader, a lover of burritos, and a curious child at heart.

 

Desiree loves to work in bright color palettes, bold line art, and grainy printmaking textures. She works both digitally and traditionally to create illustrations that tell a story. Her work tends to draw from her memories, travels, surroundings, and imagination. She hopes they inspire you just a little bit... or more :)
